BEIJING, April 23 from Qingdao Meteorological Bureau sources said, on April 22, as well to celebrate the 60th anniversary of China’s naval activities in multi-national naval weather protection, Qingdao Meteorological Bureau launched emergency response grade Ⅱ and send weather emergency command vehicle, X-band radar, moving radar and other high-tech wind profiler mobile meteorological equipment for multi-national naval activities on-site weather observations to provide full fine weather forecasting service.
Qingdao Meteorological Bureau attaches great importance to multi-national naval activities, weather protection services, meteorological services from the successful completion of Olympic sailing since the first of three on-site meteorological modernization with the use of mobile devices, and sent observatory leadership, Chief forecasters and advanced technology and equipment for field operations personnel to strengthen the multi-national naval activities around the weather observations to make forecasts more accurate.
According to reports, these weather emergency command vehicle fully equipped, versatile, with the proper function of meteorological and flexibility, and X-band radar, moving radar wind profiler when used with in weather monitoring, forecasting, warning and so on advantages. During the 2008 Olympic Regatta, mobile meteorological equipment for its convenient, flexible features in the Olympic sailing competition in the refinement of forecasting services to show their talents.
