BEIJING, March 2, according to Itar-Tass reported that the Indian “Daily News and Analysis” reported today that New Delhi and Moscow ready to sign for the Indian Air Force Su-42 Russian-made fighter-30МКI new contract.
reported that, on the 1990s, India and Russia signed several purchase and use permits in India’s Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) which produced fighter aircraft contract.
Indian Air Force are currently about 100 aircraft of this model, will increase to 230 by 2015.
The paper said the next batch of fighters will have been ordered 230 additional aircraft.
Indian Defense Ministry sources, according to Russian news agency said, the deal has been done several months of preparation, but now is too early to talk about the contract signing period.
