MOSCOW, July 12 (Xinhua correspondent Jacky Lau) 12, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow called for Russia and the U.S. should continue to promote the improvement of bilateral relations.
Medvedev of the Russian diplomatic envoys who attended the conference and delivered speeches. He said that the remnants of the Cold War has become history, Russia and the U.S. should not be stalled on the road to improve relations, “This is an important and long overdue step to take.”
Medvedev said that Russia, U.S. will understand the “limitations of military power,” “Russia and the U.S. signed a new strategic arms reduction treaty offensive once again proved this point.”
Medvedev also said Russia opposed the unilateral policy on the issue of missile defense, against the deployment of weapons in outer space.
