Last year, U.S. Raytheon Sea Sparrow missile to deliver a new record volume

According to Raytheon web site April 11, 2011 Raytheon’s Missile Systems business in 2010 delivered a total of “Evolved Sea Sparrow” missile (ESSM) 366 pieces, equivalent to the previous year 2 times, this figure also set a Raytheon “Evolved Sea Sparrow” missile to deliver the number of records.
According to Raytheon Missile Systems Naval Weapons Systems Division ? Nick Nelson, vice president of introduction, Raytheon “Evolved Sea Sparrow” missile deliveries increased for two reasons: First, customers increased demand, the second is Raytheon’s own manufacturing process levels increased and strengthened.
“Evolved Sea Sparrow” is a medium-range, all-weather, semi-active radar-guided missile that can achieve surface vessels as well as face-to-air combat.
