UH-72A” Le Keta “(Lakota) light utility helicopter

According to the U.S.,” Aerospace Daily, “December 11, 2009 reported that EADS, the U.S. Army has awarded a $ 247 million, five-year UH-72A “Le Keta” (Lakota) light utility helicopter (Light Utility Helicopter, LUH) order contract.

Under the contract, EADS will for the U.S. Army in fiscal year 2010 production of 45 UH-72A helicopter, so this type of helicopter the U.S. Army’s total orders to 178. As planned, the order of these UH-72A helicopter from June 2011 onwards delivery.
